R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Ali Carlson has |
|
|
ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Poncho Nevárez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Carlson has |
|
|
contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in |
|
|
addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
|
valuable work experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Carlson graduated in 2008 from Lamar High School |
|
|
and has since attended the University of Georgia, where she gained a |
|
|
degree in Business Administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties |
|
|
as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Ali Carlson for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Poncho |
|
|
Nevárez and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Carlson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
