R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Lee M. Kleinman was elected to represent District 11
  on the Dallas City Council in May 2013, and he brings a wealth of
  valuable experience to his new office; and
         WHEREAS, This accomplished Texan earned his bachelor's
  degree from Pitzer College and his master's degree from the Cox
  School of Business at Southern Methodist University; during his
  successful career managing high-growth and start-up companies, he
  has served as vice president of FootAction USA, vice president and
  principal of the ProSoft Corporation, and OEM business manager at
  the Brightpoint Corporation, in addition to holding a number of
  other posts; currently, he is the chief operating officer and a
  principal of Bridge Metrics, LLC; and
         WHEREAS, Councilman Kleinman possesses a keen understanding
  of public service, having previously been a member of the board of
  the Dallas Park and Recreation Department for six years; moreover,
  he has long been active in his community as a member of such
  organizations as the Dallas Zoological Society, the Dallas Zoo Long
  Range Planning Committee, the Dallas Bicycle Plan Steering
  Committee, the Greenhill School Capital Campaign Committee, the
  North Texas Crime Commission, and Temple Emanu-El; and
         WHEREAS, Public servants play an essential role in helping
  communities prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the
  future, and Lee Kleinman's leadership and insight are sure to be of
  great benefit to the citizens of Dallas in the years ahead; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Lee Kleinman on his election to the
  Dallas City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  success in serving his constituents; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Kleinman as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
