R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jordan Molnar of Panhandle High School achieved |
|
|
great distinction by winning the 1A Division 1 bronze medal in the |
|
|
girls' 200-meter dash at the University Interscholastic League |
|
|
Track & Field State Meet on May 11, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Facing the top competitors in the state, Ms. Molnar |
|
|
turned in a remarkable performance, recording a time of 24.77 |
|
|
seconds to claim third place in the event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Jordan Molnar has become a |
|
|
source of pride for her family and school, and she will cherish her |
|
|
memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jordan Molnar on her third-place |
|
|
finish in the 1A Division 1 200-meter dash at the UIL Track & Field |
|
|
State Meet and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Molnar as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
