R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Noah Zorsky of Tascosa High School in Amarillo |
|
|
achieved great distinction by winning the 5A silver medal in the |
|
|
pole vault at the University Interscholastic League Track & Field |
|
|
State Meet on May 11, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Facing the top competitors in the state, Mr. Zorsky |
|
|
turned in a remarkable performance, reaching a height of 16 feet, 3 |
|
|
inches, to claim second place in the event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Noah Zorsky has become a |
|
|
source of pride for his family and school, and he will cherish his |
|
|
memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Noah Zorsky on his second-place |
|
|
finish in the 5A pole vault at the UIL Track & Field State Meet and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Zorsky as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
