R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Neesha Davé is stepping down as chief of staff in the
  office of State Representative Armando Walle after ably serving her
  fellow Texans in that position for five years; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the office following Representative
  Walle's election in 2008, Ms. Davé has provided vital leadership
  and assistance in handling a wide range of challenging tasks; her
  commitment and professionalism have ensured the efficient
  operation of the office, allowing Representative Walle to
  effectively devote his attention to the urgent issues facing the
  citizens of the Lone Star State; moreover, she has played an
  instrumental role in organizing legislative efforts with the
  Democratic Caucus; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Davé has a enjoyed a notable career in politics
  and advocacy; in addition to her service with Representative Walle,
  she has worked as an account executive for The Pivot Group and MSHC
  Partners, managing large-scale communication campaigns on behalf
  of numerous Democratic candidates; previously, she worked as a
  grassroots director for Texas Watch and as a field director and
  legislative assistant with State Representative John Mabry; she is
  a strong proponent of women's issues, and she has served on the
  board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Central Texas and as a
  member of the Central Texas Steering Committee for Annie's List;
  and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin,
  Ms. Davé holds a bachelor's degree in government and Asian American
  studies; she enjoys the love and support of her husband Jeff, and is
  the devoted mother of her beautiful twins, Norah and Eli; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Davé is known to her colleagues, friends, and
  family for being a tremendous source of information and know-how
  for new and expectant mothers; also known for her appreciation of
  vegan desserts, including those from Capital City Bakery, many
  others have come to know her talent for creating delicious vegan
  desserts at home; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
  duties as chief of staff with experience and savvy, as well as with
  positivity and dedication, and it is indeed a pleasure to recognize
  her for her service as she looks forward to the next exciting
  chapter in her life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Neesha Davé for her outstanding work as
  chief of staff in the office of State Representative Armando Walle
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Davé as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
