R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Diona Willis is graduating as the salutatorian of |
|
|
the senior class of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Diona Willis has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at |
|
|
Paul Laurence Dunbar High, and her exceptional scholastic ability, |
|
|
hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to |
|
|
limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Diona Willis, salutatorian of the |
|
|
Paul Laurence Dunbar High class of 2013, and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success as she begins the next exciting |
|
|
chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Willis as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
