A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to indexing fees charged for certain nonresident hunting
  and fishing licenses to fees charged for certain resident hunting
  and fishing licenses.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 42.0141, Parks and Wildlife Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         Sec. 42.0141.  GENERAL NONRESIDENT HUNTING LICENSE FEE. The
  amount set by the commission for the general nonresident hunting
  license fee may not be greater than two times the amount set for the
  resident hunting license fee under Section 42.012(a). [The fee for
  a general nonresident hunting license is $100.75 or an amount set by
  the commission, whichever amount is more.]
         SECTION 2.  Section 46.004(e), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (e)  The amount set by the commission for the nonresident
  fishing license fee may not exceed by more than $10 the amount set
  for the resident fishing license fee under Subsection (a). [The
  nonresident fishing license fee is $15 or an amount set by the
  commission, whichever amount is more.]
         SECTION 3.  The commission shall adopt fees for nonresident
  hunting and fishing licenses that comply with the fee amounts
  required by this Act.
         SECTION 4.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2014.
