A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a 14-day general hunting license for non-residents; |
|
|
imposing a fee. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 42.0141, Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 42.0141. GENERAL NONRESIDENT HUNTING LICENSE FEES; |
|
|
LIMIT ON PURCHASES OF 14-DAY LICENSE [FEE]. (a) The fee for a |
|
|
general nonresident hunting license is $100.75 or an amount set by |
|
|
the commission, whichever amount is more. |
|
|
(b) The fee for a 14-day general nonresident hunting license |
|
|
is an amount set by the commission not to exceed the amount for a |
|
|
resident hunting license under Section 42.012(a). |
|
|
(c) A person may not purchase more than four 14-day general |
|
|
nonresident hunting licenses each year. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
