SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 8 has been adopted by the house of |
|
|
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for |
|
|
enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be |
|
|
corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, by the 83rd Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|
|
the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to correct Senate |
|
|
Bill No. 8 in SECTION 6 of the bill, in added Section 531.1022, |
|
|
Government Code, by adding Subsection (d) to that section to read as |
|
|
follows: |
|
|
(d) A peace officer employed and commissioned under this |
|
|
section shall obtain prior approval from the office of attorney |
|
|
general before carrying out any duties requiring peace officer |
|
|
status. |
