SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 57
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Elisa Alice Flores, who is retiring January 31, 2013,
  from the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts after more
  than 18 years of outstanding service to the state; and
 
         WHEREAS, Elisa began her career in state service in 1994
  with the State Treasury Department and moved to the comptroller's
  office when it assumed the duties of the state treasurer; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
  superior skills and expertise; talented and resourceful, she has
  handled her many duties with exceptional efficiency and
  dedication; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and
  admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the
  Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby commend Elisa Alice Flores on her
  exceptional service to the people of Texas as an employee of the
  Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her
  best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
