SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 109
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the members of the Chancellor's Student Advisory
  Council of The Texas A&M University System; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Chancellor's Student Advisory Council was
  established in 1982 to provide a means to address issues common
  to students throughout The Texas A&M University System; the
  council meets twice each year and consists of two student
  representatives from each campus in the system; and
 
         WHEREAS, These leaders in student government work to help
  the council further its mission of encouraging student
  involvement in campus affairs, promoting communication, and
  acting as a liaison to the system chancellor and board of
  regents; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Chancellor's Student Advisory Council has
  since its inception played an important role in the successful
  operation of The Texas A&M University System, and it is truly
  deserving of recognition for its efforts; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Chancellor's
  Student Advisory Council on their exemplary work and extend to
  them best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the council as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
