SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 564
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Randall Cross Stegall
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of Fort Worth in mourning the loss of Randall Cross
  Stegall, who died February 27, 2013, at the age of 59; and
         WHEREAS, Randy Stegall was born December 12, 1953, in Fort
  Worth; after his 1972 graduation from Arlington Heights High
  School, he received a bachelor's degree from The University of
  Texas at Arlington and followed in his father's footsteps by
  earning a degree from Saint Mary's University School of Law;
  during his college years, he began studying real estate and title
  insurance law while working for Commercial Standard Title
  Company; and
         WHEREAS, After graduating and assuming his father's law
  practice in 1980, he went on to serve as president of four of the
  region's largest title companies; he was also general counsel for
  Safeco Land Title Company and Alamo Title Company; along with his
  wife, Priscilla, he owned three offices of Lawyers Title, in
  addition to the Stegall Firm, a law office in Southlake; he was
  the holder of an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbard; a gifted
  attorney, he dedicated 40 years of his life to serving the real
  estate community; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Stegall was also an accomplished musician and
  entertainer who was noted for his ready smile and warm
  personality; he was dedicated to education, and the Randy Stegall
  Scholarship Fund has been established to continue his legacy of
  leadership and commitment to the pursuit of knowledge; and
         WHEREAS, A man of strength, integrity, and compassion, he
  gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, his professionalism,
  and his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be
  forgotten; and
         WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and
  grandfather, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
  forever by his family and countless friends; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Randall Cross Stegall; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Randy Stegall.
