SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 671
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Clyde Broussard
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of Houston in mourning the loss of Clyde Broussard, who
  died March 17, 2013; and
         WHEREAS, Clyde Broussard was an exemplary citizen who was
  widely admired for his achievements and his many contributions to
  his community; and
         WHEREAS, He enjoyed a rewarding career at Weatherford
  International, where he worked for 16 years and was a trusted and
  valued employee; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Broussard was an avid outdoorsman and an
  enthusiastic and experienced cyclist; he participated in a wide
  variety of races, including the MS 150 and the Tour de Houston; he
  also enjoyed scuba diving and fishing; and
         WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
  gave unselfishly to others, and his generous spirit and his
  enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be
  forgotten; and
         WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband and father, and he leaves
  behind memories that will be treasured forever by his family and
  many friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  83rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
  bereaved family of Clyde Broussard; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
  Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
  so in memory of Clyde Broussard.
