SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 703
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Lori Ann Vogel, who is retiring from the Texas Lottery
  Commission on April 30, 2013, after more than 29 years of
  outstanding service to the state; and
 
         WHEREAS, Lori began her career in state service in 1984 as
  an employee with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission, where she
  worked for 16 years; she joined the Texas Lottery Commission in
  2000 and is retiring from her position as claims and payment
  supervisor; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
  superior organizational skills and her management and
  administrative expertise; and
 
         WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her
  many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and
  dedication; she has played a critical role in the administration
  of the agency's claims and payment program, and she has worked
  diligently to maintain the agency's high standards of security
  and integrity; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and
  admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Texas Lottery
  Commission will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  83rd Legislature, hereby commend Lori Ann Vogel on her
  exceptional service to the people of Texas as an employee of the
  Texas Lottery Commission and extend to her best wishes for
  continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
