SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 733
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  honor Colin G. Haza, who is retiring from the Texas Lottery
  Commission after 14 years of outstanding service; and
 
         WHEREAS, Colin Haza joined the commission on October 14,
  1998, bringing with him his extensive experience in governmental
  relations in the banking sector; and
 
         WHEREAS, At the Texas Lottery Commission, Colin has held
  the position of Governmental Affairs Liaison; during his 14-year
  tenure, he has provided an abundance of vital legislative
  analysis and support to the agency and to legislative offices,
  and he has proved to be an invaluable resource on past and present
  laws and legislation; and
 
         WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has exhibited a
  high level of professionalism, and that quality has enabled him
  to ensure positive legislative relations for the agency;
  talented and resourceful, Colin is much admired and respected by
  his colleagues, and his presence at the Texas Lottery Commission
  will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby commend Colin G. Haza on his exceptional
  service at the Texas Lottery Commission and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  Colin Haza as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
