SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1020

Rudolph G. Suniga |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
commemorates the life of Rudolph G. Suniga, who died April 12, |
|
2013, at the age of 61; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Rudy Suniga was born on June 23, 1951, in |
|
Gonzales; he graduated from Fox Tech High School in San Antonio |
|
in 1970, and he joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly |
|
served his country; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans |
|
at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 76, and he was an active member |
|
of the GI Forum; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A man of integrity, courage, and generosity, Mr. |
|
Suniga gave unselfishly of his time and energy to others, and he |
|
will be dearly missed by his loving family and his many friends; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, |
|
83rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the |
|
bereaved family of Rudolph G. Suniga; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of Rudy Suniga. |
