SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1028
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Ella Cook, who is retiring May 31, 2013, after 25 years
  of outstanding service with the Office of the Comptroller of
  Public Accounts; and
 
         WHEREAS, Ella Cook joined the comptroller's office in May
  of 1988 as an employee in the Revenue Processing Division; she
  later transferred to the Revenue Accounting Division, where she
  has served with distinction for 20 years; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
  organizational skills and her work ethic; talented and
  resourceful, she has handled her responsibilities with
  exceptional efficiency and dedication; and
 
         WHEREAS, A model employee, she is respected and admired by
  her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the Comptroller
  of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  83rd Legislature, hereby commend Ella Cook on her exemplary
  service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the
  Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her best wishes for
  continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
