SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1028
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Ella Cook, who is retiring May 31, 2013, after 25 years |
|
|
of outstanding service with the Office of the Comptroller of |
|
|
Public Accounts; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ella Cook joined the comptroller's office in May |
|
|
of 1988 as an employee in the Revenue Processing Division; she |
|
|
later transferred to the Revenue Accounting Division, where she |
|
|
has served with distinction for 20 years; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her |
|
|
organizational skills and her work ethic; talented and |
|
|
resourceful, she has handled her responsibilities with |
|
|
exceptional efficiency and dedication; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, A model employee, she is respected and admired by |
|
|
her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the Comptroller |
|
|
of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, |
|
|
83rd Legislature, hereby commend Ella Cook on her exemplary |
|
|
service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the |
|
|
Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
