No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the occupational licensing of members of the military and spouses of members of the military.

Based on information provided by the Department of Licensing and Regulation, Texas Board of Nursing, Department of Licensing and Regulation, Executive Council of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners, Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, Department of Agriculture, Office of Injured Employee Counsel, Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, Board of Professional Engineers, Board of Professional Geoscientists, Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Board of Pharmacy, Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, Optometry Board, Commission on Environmental Quality, Board of Professional Land Surveying, Central Education Agency, Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, Texas Medical Board, Real Estate Commission, Department of Insurance, Department of Public Safety, Comptroller of Public Accounts, and the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
