No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure in relation to the admissibility of certain evidence in capital punishment cases. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to the admissibility of evidence in a capital case in which the voir dire examination began on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
