The bill would also allow for two or more registered voters to present affidavits alleging criminal conduct in connection with the election either to the local prosecuting attorney or to the attorney general. The bill would require for the attorney receiving the affidavits to investigate the allegations.
The Office of the Attorney General indicated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
