IN RE:	HB310 by Guillen (Relating to entry of a guilty plea by a minor for certain offenses under the Alcoholic Beverage Code.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow a minor to pleady guilty out of court for an offense other than for driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor if the minor resides outside of the county where the offense was alleged to have occured and the minor has not been previously convicted of an offense under Chapter 106, Alcoholic Beverage Code.

A significant impact on the programs and workload of state corrections is not expected from any provisions of this bill.

Local Government Impact

The bill would result in lesser workloads for judges; however, savings to units of local government are not expected to be significant.
