IN RE:
HB312 by Guillen (Relating to information contained on a personal identification certificate, driver's license, and commercial driver's license.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to allow a possessor of certain boating, hunting and fishing licenses issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to elect to include certain information relating to some or all of those licenses on the individual's identification certificate, driver's license or commercial driver's license. The bill would also amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to authorize the use of a driver's license containing the license information specified in the bill as an indicator that the individual is appropriately licensed. It is assumed the provisions of the bill can be implemented within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.
