No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure and Occupations Code relating to peace officers commissioned by the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TSBVME). The bill would allow the TSBVME to commission peace officers. Based on information provided by the TSBVME and Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, it is assumed that any costs associated with the implementation of this bill would be absorbed within existing staff and resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
