HB450 by Dukes (Relating to the designation of a state climatologist.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code, Chapter 470 to require the Governor to designate a state climatologist. The Office of the Governor and the Texas A&M University System indicate that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency’s existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
