No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to exemption from application of the Private Security Act of certain peace officers employed by a law enforcement agency. It is assumed that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
