HB519 by Zerwas (Relating to making a voluntary contribution to the donor registry when registering a motor vehicle or applying for a driver's license or personal identification certificate.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the county tax assessor-collector and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to remit on a monthly basis voluntary contributions collected on behalf of the Glenda Dawson Donate Life-Texas Registry to the nonprofit organization administering the registry for use by the nonprofit to manage the organization’s registry.
