No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code by repealing Section 11.641 (c), which is related to potential civil penalties imposed on the holder of an alcoholic beverage license or permit on the basis of a criminal prosecution. The Alcoholic Beverage Commission has determined that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.
