No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code and the Occupations Code relating to the medical use of marihuana.

Based on information provided by the Texas Medical Board and the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
