HB618 by Creighton (Relating to the issuance of specialty license plates to officers of the United States armed forces who graduated from certain United States military academies.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue specialty license plates for persons who graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and persons who graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Based on the information provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
