No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the requirements for issuance of certain barbering and cosmetology licenses and certificates for applicants holding licenses issued by other states; imposing fees.

Based on information provided by the Comptroller of Public Accounts and the Department of Licensing and Regulation, this analysis assumes that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
