Honorable Joe Deshotel, Chair, House Committee On Land & Resource Management
FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB622 by Eiland (Relating to the report by the General Land Office to the legislature on the effectiveness of the coastal management program.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would change the requirement that the General Land Office prepare a report on the effectiveness of the coastal management program from an annual requirement to a biennial requirement. Although requiring one fewer report from the agency may result in some cost savings to the agency, the savings is not anticipated to be significant.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
