No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require municipalities to provide written notice of certain proposed zoning changes to each school district in the area in which the proposed change is located. The bill would also provide an exception to certain municipalities as defined by the provisions of the bill.
