No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill modifies statute as it relates to applying credit earned by a student at a general academic teaching institution to an associate's degree at a lower-division institution of higher education previously attended by the student.  Under provisions of the bill the cumulative total number of credit hours for course work successfully completed by the student would be lowered from 90 to 66. Provisions of the bill would be absorbed within existing resources.
