No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to remove from public access certain information contained in the state's sex offender database relating to a sex offender's employer. The Department of Public Safety indicates it could absorb the costs associated with the bill within its current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
