No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 58 of the Family Code relating to automatic expunction of a juvenile's record after completion of a deferred prosecution program. It is assumed that implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within the existing resources of the affected agencies. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
