IN RE: | HB946 by Giddings (Relating to the reporting of information by a school district relating to certain offenses committed by students.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
The bill would require school districts to report annually to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) data regarding certain offenses committed by students.
To implement the bill, TEA would have to add new data elements to the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS).
TEA estimates there would be minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill.
