No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code by providing criteria for which to determine the residence of an individual for the purpose of voter registration.
The Secretary of State and the Department of Public Safety indicate the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.
The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.
