No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal the Family Code Section 107.006(f), which requires that attorneys ad litem, guardians ad litem, and amicus attorneys destroy certain records upon termination of their appointment. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
