No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require judicial sealing of certain law enforcement-related documents, orders, and extensions. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to an application for a mobile tracking device submitted after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
