No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the confidentiality of certain complaints to and investigations by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Based on information provided by TDLR, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, and the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
