No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the exemption of registered dental laboratories from certain distributing and manufacturing licensing requirements. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013. Based on information provided by the Board of Dental Examiners and the Department of State Health Services, it is assumed that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill would be absorbed within existing staff and resources.
