IN RE:
HB1460 by Gooden (Relating to the use of land and water for wildlife management.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Water Code relating to land and water used for wildlife management, as defined. Bill provisions would add the exclusion of discharge of ground water for the purpose of wildlife management from the definition of "waste" (as it relates to water). The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department indicates bill provisions would not reflect a fiscal implication to the department.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
