No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code in relation to the filing, admissibility, and release of certain medical or health care records with a court. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to the admissibility and release of evidence in an action commencing on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
