No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to confidential and privileged communications between an insurance carrier and an employer under the Texas Workers' Compensation Act.  Based on  information provided by the Department of Insurance, the Office of the Attorney General and the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
