No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would requires a court clerk to send notice by certified mail to the surety on a bail bond for an offense other than a Class C misdemeanor to the surety's last known address when a surety is in default.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
