No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize the University of Texas System Board of Regents to acquire certain property in the city of Arlington for campus expansion and other university purposes all or part of the parcel of land.  The title to the land would be taken in the name of the University of Texas System Board of Regents and subject to the control and management of the Board. The bill would not grant the power of eminent domain over the tract of land.  Provisions of the bill would be implemented within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
