No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under the provisions of the bill, a mental health facility would not be permitted to require a peace officer to transport a person apprehended for emergency detention to a medical facility to receive a medical evaluation without having first transported the person to the mental health facility.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
