IN RE: | HB1874 by Lewis (Relating to an appeal from an interlocutory order of certain courts.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to allow appeals from an interlocutory order of a statutory probate court. Although the bill may result in a slight increase in the number of appeals, the Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to appeal of an interlocutory order rendered on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
