No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to adopt the Uniform Trade Secrets Act. The bill specifies procedural requirements and available relief and damages for actions brought under the Act. No significant fiscal impact to the court system or the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
