IN RE: | HB1922 by Thompson, Senfronia (Relating to certain information to which a social study evaluator is entitled in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship; providing a criminal penalty.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
The bill amends the Family Code to require that the Department of Family and Protective Services supply social study evaluators with a complete, unredacted copy of certain investigative records. The bill specifies that the information in the investigative records is confidential and makes certain disclosures of record information a Class A misdemeanor.
The Department of Family and Protective Services anticipates the bill could be implemented with existing resources.
