No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Family Code to require that the Department of Family and Protective Services supply social study evaluators with a complete, unredacted copy of certain investigative records. The bill specifies that the information in the investigative records is confidential and makes certain disclosures of record information a Class A misdemeanor.

The Department of Family and Protective Services anticipates the bill could be implemented with existing resources.
